QSS invite applications for 5 short-term studio spaces at The Arches Centre, 11-13 Bloomfield Avenue, Belfast, BT5 5AA:
Studio 1a – 356 sq/ft @ £85 per month (6 months)
Studio 11 – 385 sq/ft @ £92 per month (1 year)
Studio 15 – 390 sq/ft @ £93 per month (1 year)
Studio 26 – 202 sq/ft @ £51 per month (6 months)
Studio 31 – 368 sq/ft @ £88 per month (1 year)
All five self-contained studios are located on the 2nd floor of The Arches Centre and will be available to rent from 4th March. Artists have access to the building from 8.00 to 22.00 Monday to Saturday and 10.00 to 21.00 on Sundays. A lift is available in the ground floor reception area.
Studios have double-glazed windows, high speed wi-fi, recycling facilities and access to a sluice room and communal kitchen/seating area. There are good transport links in the vicinity and plenty of shops and cafes.
QSS welcomes applications from emerging and more established artists by Monday 25 February at 17.00. Site visits are available on Wednesday 21st February at 11.30 and 15.00 for artists wishing to view the studios prior to submitting an application.
All artists will be notified via email following the studio selection process. Please note that QSS studios are strictly non-commercial and solely for the production of art.
