During this two day workshop, participants will be guided through in creating a short composition that will be spatialized using the Ambisonics surround sound technology. We will explore the possibilities of working with virtual sound spaces as well as other artistic strategies of confronting space with sound.
All participants are asked to choose a single still image representing a space (for example a reproduction of painting, photo or sketch) and to bring a print to the workshop. Based on the image, each participant will create a short sound collage that will be extrapolated into a sounding space.
