Printmaking Workshops with Lucy May Schofield at R-Space Gallery Lisburn

Mokuhanga is perfect for artists interested in a non-toxic, table-top printmaking technique. During this taster session you will learn the basic skills to transfer and carve a ‘key line’ and colour separation blocks, in the tradition of Japanese Ukiyo-e printmaking. With no press required, only a hand held barren, you will have the opportunity to ink up a woodblock and pass a print on Japanese paper. You will be sure to fall in love with both the process and results of this accessible, water-based printmaking method which provides endless possibilities.
