Open Call | Panel of Facilitators for Cultural Programming with Athlone Arts and Tourism

Athlone Arts and Tourism operates Athlone Castle, Luan Gallery and Abbey Road Artists Studios.

Athlone Arts and Tourism wish to invite submissions from facilitators seeking to join an education and activity panel for cultural programming for the organisations in 2019/2020. Facilitators selected for the panel may be chosen to deliver art and craft workshops, specialist talks, historical presentations, storytelling, and other tailored events to children, adults and specialist groups on an adhoc basis.

Once CVs are collected and a panel devised, panelists will be requested to forward event proposals in due course, which should tie in with the ethos and themes of either the Luan Gallery and Abbey Road Artists Studios or Athlone Castle.

This opportunity is open to facilitators who have experience in: arts and crafts activities for children, various fine art discipline workshops for adults, history based storytelling events and workshops for children, historical demonstrations, interpretation, recreation and performance, and the provision of specialist historical lectures for adults.
