Sarah Walker Gallery is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic individuals to assist with art administration, marketing and promotion, social media and practical aspects of gallery management. We are looking for motivated, energetic, efficient and very ‘hands-on’ individuals to work on all areas of the gallery programme on a part-time basis. The gallery assistants will work closely with artists and the gallery director.

Please note: this position is currently unpaid but it does come with free accommodation, ie an apartment in the gallery building. Hours are flexible, to be agreed with intern.

The role is ideal for Arts Administration students, graduates or post-graduates, and for those with a Fine Art or related background looking to pursue a career working within arts organisations. Applicants with other qualifications will be considered if the knowledge and skills required are met. From end of May through September 2018, start time and duration open to discussion. Applicants also welcome to start end March if available.
