Open Call | Fire Station’s Sculpture Workshop and Digital Media Awards 2018

Deadline for applications: Tuesday 14 November, 5pm

The primary focus of the Sculpture and Digital media awards is for artists, emerging or established, to develop their practice.
Having an awareness of their facilities, resources and programme is helpful to artists making an application.

Sculpture
February – October 2018
Fire Station are looking for artists who want to experiment with new materials and / or access the particular facilities of the sculpture workshop.
This award offers full time access to a bay in the sculpture workshop.
The duration of the award varies from two months, three months and four months.
A monthly stipend of €150 will be contributed.

Support will be provided by our workshop staff, alongside our curatorial and administrative team.

Digital
February – November 2018
This award offers scheduled access to Fire Station’s Digital Media Centre. The duration of the award varies from two months to three months.
Fire Station are looking for artists who want to access the particular facilities and resources of Digital Media Centre, experiment with or develop their digital media skills.
A monthly stipend of €150 will be contributed.
Access can be scheduled to avail of digital media equipment and edit suites.

Support will be provided by our digital media staff, alongside our curatorial and administrative team.
