Application deadline: 26 January, 5pm
The Ennis Street Arts Festival is an annual festival of arts and culture, which creates a platform for local, national and international artists with the aim of offering a unique experience to the community with original innovative ideas. This festival offers the chance of developing stronger relationships between artists and the local community, in terms of cultural and social engagement and participation in Ennis and Co. Clare.
For the second year the Ennis Street Arts Festival is proud to offer two individual commissions for visual artists, of €1000 for the production and presentation of a Street arts Project during the ESAF 2018.
Due to the ensuing success of last year’s chosen commission projects Ennis Street Arts Festival are delighted to be able to offer these Opportunities to Artists once again. They are looking for Community Based Street Art Projects that offer the people of Ennis the chance to engage with the Festival. The chosen artists will be given the opportunity to develop their projects and showcase the result to a wide and varied audience. This will be done with the full support of the Festival team and the artist will be afforded full recognition for their work.
All artists are required to submit:
- A completed application form
- A current CV
- Previous work samples or relevant visuals in PDF format including links to website
and/or videos if necessary
- Budget Plan
The final decision will be taken by the selection panel, which will be comprised of at the minimum: ESAF production team members, professional artist(s), and local authority representative(s).
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their submissions and shortlisted candidates may be called for interview ahead of finalising selection depending on the recommendation of the selection panel.
