Open Call | Dublin City Council Residential Artists’ Studio 2019

Dublin City Council Art’s Office is pleased to announce an open call to Irish and international Artists’ as well as Arts Organizations interested in applying for our “2019 Residential Scheme”. The scheme will run from April 2019 until the 31st January 2020.
They have three residences on offer for periods of three months to ten months. Shorter periods of occupation may be considered at the discretion of the City Arts Officer subject to demand or as part of an agreed joint programme with Dublin City Council.
Albert Cottages consists of two properties located in Hampstead Park, Dublin 9, a tranquil parklands setting. Each cottage consists of two bedrooms, living area, kitchen and a small studio/work space.
St Patrick’s Lodge is located in St Patrick’s Park next to St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin City. This is a busy city park. The property also consists of two bedrooms, living area, kitchen and a small studio/work space.
All properties are fully furnished and include complimentary TV, phone and wifi service. Rent for each property is set at €700 per month.
To apply for a residential studio please send a cover letter detailing the proposed usage of the studio, a work plan outlining ideas for the residency; duration of residency; current Curriculum Vitae; artists’ statement; documentation of work; and any special requirements, for example in terms of access.
