Open Call | Art Spin Hamilton 2018, Canada

Art Spin is an interactive bike and art tour that first launched in Toronto in 2009. The spin creates alternative ways of experiencing art by placing it in unexpected venues throughout the city. Art Spin Hamilton’s inaugural ride in 2017 explored expansive abandoned spaces near the waterfront, little known urban infrastructure, hidden loading docks off rail spurs and more.

Projects must be well suited for the nature of the event, and may include but are not limited to sculpture, installation, film and video, electronic and kinetic work, new media, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, performance art, dance, theatre, and music. Exhibiting artists will receive an Artist fee ranging from $500-$800, depending on the scope of the project.
