Submissions accepted up to 1 October 2019, 5pm.
Open call for applications to exhibit in Áras Inis Gluaire for 2020/21 exhibition programme. All artforms and experience levels welcome.
Áras Inis Gluaire is situated in the beautiful environs of Belmullet town on the Erris Peninsula. Inis Gluaire is an island off the coast of the Mullet Peninsula where the fabled Children of Lir were banished for 300 years to live out their lives as swans. Our mission is to provide a cultural, social, economic and educational service, via the medium of the arts, for and on behalf of the Erris community, one of Ireland’s most outstanding areas of natural beauty.
Áras Inis Gluaire is a purpose built arts space that is part of Áisleann Bhéal an Mhuirthead (Belmullet Civic Centre).
All Artfroms are welcome to apply. Both Group and individual projects are possible. All projects will be given at the least 3 days to install. Transport if needed can be handled by the arts centre provided ample notice is given.
Please note: There is no artist fee for selected artists. They have an experienced team for the hanging and tech support for exhibitions. Any additional costs can be worked out on a case by case basis.
Please provide a Project Outline, C.V. examples of your work (previous works are acceptable if the work is currently being produced).
Please send any applications or queries to sean@arasinisgluaire.ie
