Oil Paint on Glass Animation 2-Day Masterclass

Join Carol Freeman, Director and Animator of Paper Panther’s ‘The Bird and the Whale’, for an Oil Paint on Glass Animation Masterclass. Carol will guide 5 participants through the stages involved in creating their own individual painted animations. In the first class, participants will plan and sketch their animation on paper, using pencils. In the second class, using their hand drawn animation as reference, they will animate using oil paint on glass.

Although no previous experience of animation is necessary to attend this workshop, it will be especially useful for animators or visual artists who would like to build on their skills. Participants will learn the process involved in planning, painting and photographing their own oil paint on glass animation.
