Featuring: Juhani Pallasmaa, Finland – acclaimed architectural theorist and author emphasising the tactile and sensory approach to spatial design in classic books like Eyes of The Skin; Beili Liu, United States – artist/lecturer; sensitive manipulation of symbolic materials in site-specific large-scale installations exploring cultural and social realities
Mark Garry, Ireland -s onic/musical and installation practice activating and navigating space; Torsten Blume, Germany – Bauhaus Dessau researcher, curator; Bauhaus legacy of dance/movement as educational tool for developing sensory awareness in architecture;
Isabel English, Ireland – using the character of Architect, exploring utopia and the Ideal via architectural language, media, and materials.
MAKE 2018 will focus on making in the interplay between art and architecture. MAKE 2018 is hosted by CIT Crawford College Of Art And Design.
