In this weekend workshop you will create a piece of three dimensional cast glass. On the first day you will make a shape with wax which you wish to recreate in glass. During the next day we will cast up and steam out the wax and prepare the mould for firing. On the third day, after firing, the mould will be broken away (divested) and you will have time to cold work your piece. Each stage of this process will be discussed and explained. Some experience with glass would be preferable, though not essential.
Lunch and refreshments provided each day. Class numbers limited to 4 persons.
