The Head of People and Skills will play a leading role with colleagues in implementing the Human Resources Strategy ensuring that the Council has the knowledge and skills in place to deliver on its objectives.
The Head of People and Skills is expected to contribute to the delivery of the Arts Council’s strategic goals under Making Great Art Work and to collaborate with all managers and staff to deliver the objectives of the HR Strategy in line with its guiding principles.
The successful candidate will lead a small team, ensuring that the Council has the knowledge and skills in place to deliver on its objectives, and providing an effective and efficient service and support to colleagues. This is a full time position, the duration of the temporary contract is three years, with the possibility of a final six month extension. The initial contract duration will be twelve months.
