Figure Painting Course at Galway Arts Centre

Throughout this 6 week course of painting the nude model from life in oils, we will work through composition, gesture, texture, anatomy, color mixing and paint application. Each session will include a demo, but the majority of the course will be spent painting and one on one feedback. Though each session will focus on one of the above mentioned concepts, they will all overlap throughout the course, resulting in a structured, yet organic approach to painting. All materials provided and models fees included in price. Great for beginners and working artists alike.
