Calling all book lovers, this time we will journey into the belly of the Museum and inspired by the giants of the past we will take a fresh approach to book making. Using a selection of the Museum’s many printing plates as a resource together we will rub, ink, stamp, write, draw, paste… to create our own unique hardback concertina books. For beginners, advanced bookmakers or anyone who enjoys creating beautiful objects by hand. This workshop offers a rare, imaginative opportunity not to be missed. Keep an eye to the museums Facebook page as artist and class facilitator Caroline Byrne has fun exploring the museums archive and creating before the workshop date.
