Artist Talk | Ann Marie Webb and Oliver Whelan at the Mermaid, Co. Wicklow
Outpost Salon Night, 30 April, 7.30pm.
This will be in Mermaid’s Gallery, Bray, with Outpost Artist Ann Marie Webb’s Solo Exhibition, Dancing with the Semi-Gods. Ann Marie will be in conversation with Oliver Whelan. Their discussion will explore painting without the frame, as a means to deconstruct the image and create active spaces which both locate and disrupt our viewing.
Oliver Whelan is a multi media artist working from Dublin, and is a lecturer at NCAD. His particular research activities are founded in art and science with a specific interest in quantum physics.
