Self Publishing Photobook Workshop with Shane Lynam at The Gallery of Photography

Photobook publishing/self publishing. From project idea to actual book. Photographer Shane Lynam has achieved that holy grail of photography projects and has completed the full book making cycle with his newly launched book, Fifty High Seasons. Over the course of an hour Shane will draw on this experience to have an open and frank discussion about the process.

The goal of this event is to go into some of the details and realities of the process that are not easily available elsewhere. What, for example, are the benefits and drawbacks of using a print consolidator/print manager? how best do you manage the roles of the small team that is inevitably involved in making ‘your’ photobook a reality.
It is a great opportunity for anyone considering making a photobook or in the process of making one.
