Print Social: Pop-up print studio with Dany Guest at The Nest, Sligo

Supported by Creative Ireland, The Nest are hosting a workshop series to support creatives to bring ideas from concept to final print editions of textiles or paper based art prints.

Attendees will be supported to work through the process from idea to preparation of artwork, making screens and printing finished pieces.

The workshop series will facilitate those interested in a possible career in print and design to bring an idea to market, and will culminate in a Christmas Craft Market, supported by Branching Out, in The Nest, on Saturday December 15th.

Workshop spaces are limited to 10 people. Four places are available for people living in Direct Provision. The price of the workshops includes all basic materials, but participants will need to supply or purchase materials for final editions.

Mon 10th – Test Printing
Wed 12th – Edition Printing / Finishing

Each session lasts 2 hours, evening workshops take place 6-8pm, weekend times tbc

Location and Directions
All workshops and the craft market will take place at:
The Nest, Custom House Quay, Sligo.
The Nest is located in Quay Street car park opposite Gary’s Cycles and Domino Pizza. It is easily accessed by car from the N4/Hughes Bridge. The car park is a county council operated daily rate car park and the Quayside Shopping Centre car park is also situated nearby.
