Photographic Project development with Eoin O’Conaill and Dara McGrath at Cork Photo Gallery

This workshop offers participants the chance to get feedback on and develop their photography projects through a hands-on, one day workshop.
Aimed at photographers who have begun making work or who are looking to prepare projects for exhibition and publication.

Dara McGrath is a photographic artist based in Cork City Ireland. His photo works look at transitional spaces, in-between places where architecture, landscape and the built environment intersect, where a dialogue – of absence rather than presence – is created.
Recent exhibitions include Belfast Exposed, Format Photo Festival, Espace Lhomond Paris Photo, New Irish Works II, Landeskrone, PhotoHof Salzburg, Gallery of Photography Dublin, Photo Biennale Thessalonika, Centre Des Beaux Arts Brussels, Voies-Off Arles, Venice Biennale of Architecture among many others. He is a winner of an AIB Artsprize, a Solas Award and was recently nominated for the Prize Pictet 2016. He was recently the winner of the inaugural RAC Photography Award 2017 (selected by Martin Parr) and the Remote Photography Prize 2017.

Eoin O’Conaill is a lecturer, artist and photographer living in Cork. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally and he has been nominated for the Foam Paul Huf Photo Award, Prix Pictet and he was the recipient of the Gallery of Photography Artist Award in 2009. He has also contributed to magazines and newspapers such as the New York Times, Financial Times, Le Monde along with many other news and commercial clients. Eoin lecturers in photography at Griffith College Cork and holds an MFA in Photography from the University of Ulster.
