Abbey Road Artists’ Studios is delighted to announce the third of this year’s professional development opportunities, with the Atelier Programme. The final workshop in the summer series, will take place on 9th September and will feature a one day peer critique session. Abbey Road Artists’ Studios supports professional artists in a welcoming environment which facilitates peer interaction and artistic production. The Atelier Visual Artists Professional Training Programme is a comprehensive series of courses designed to address the needs of artists at a practical level.
This installment of the programme is intended to create a dialogue between artists and their peers and foster networking and continued peer support amongst participants. Artists will make short presentations on their practices and on future projects they would like to develop. After each presentation, a facilitated constructive discussion will take place amongst the group. This peer discussion might focus on issues such as the direction of each participants work; materials employed and the intention of the works. It is a chance for artists to network, share information and pool resources.
Requests for further information and booking queries should be directed to Luan Gallery on : firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 090 6442154. As the workshop caters for a limited number of participants only, early pre-booking is essential.
