Open Tender | Design, Build and Operate a Public Space in Belfast City Centre

Belfast City Council is seeking to appoint an organisation or a collective of organisations to work with the City Centre Development Team to programme and deliver a creative, exciting, temporary “Meanwhile Use” project for a site at 83-87 Castle Street/7 Marquis Street, Belfast, BT1

The organisation(s) will be required to design, build, programme and operate the site. This tender is for a 12 – 18 month period. This project should be developed in line with the priorities set out in relevant Council policies that see the value in short-med term interventions in the city in informing longer term development. The project should incorporate both daytime and night time activities, engage closely with the locale and be site specific.

Tender budget: £180,000 (GBP) over two years.
