This opportunity is for an artist whose practice focuses on collaboration, interacting with communities and engaging people in arts practice.
Your work will be part of a comprehensive ongoing programme, working closely with the staff team to achieve the common objective of engaging the public/s in the programme at Uillinn. It will include a 10 week full-time studio residency for research, making and reflection.
The residency will take place throughout Uillinn, over 7 months with a €7,000 fixed fee, plus a material budget to be confirmed taking place between May and December 2018, including 10 week full time Studio residency from 16 October to 22 December 2018.
Applications for this residency should be made by submitting a 1 page statement outlining how you would approach public engagement at Uillinn, how you would draw in and engage the key audiences, how you would measure success; and your CV / Biography which should include your experience of working with people and links to online documentation of your work.
Please indicate if you have a full, clean driving licence and have access to your own transport. The residency will involve working with young people from time to time. Please indicate your willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
