UCD Parity Studios in partnership with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Arts Office and CREATE – national development agency for collaborative arts, is delighted to announce open calls for artists in residence at University College Dublin, 2018/19.
UCD invite applications from professional artists who want to engage with staff and students in UCD towards the creation of work, informed by the multidisciplinary environment of the university. The principal aims of our artists in residence programme are to support mutual exchange between the artist and university staff, students and researchers and to explore areas of research, current and prospective, through the lens of artistic practice.
One year residencies are offered to professional artists. This includes free 24 hour access to studio space at UCD Parity Studios, a stipend of €7,000. An additional €1,000 may be applied for towards the dissemination of work related to the residency. Artists will also have access to UCD library, lectures, research seminars and other resources of the supporting Colleges.
