Open Call | The Cabin Odyssey, Euralens 2019, France

Application deadline: 15 February 2019.

Entitled “The Cabin Odyssey”, the project is a competition that offers urban designers, architects, planners, artists, landscapers, either individually or collectively, the opportunity to design and produce cabins, as part of the “ODYSSÉE – Euralens 2019” event, with the aim of promoting the natural spaces of the Chaîne des Parcs area (North of France).

The ‘cabin’ is here conceived as a structure that gives the walker, the tourist, or the user the opportunity to appropriate the landscape, to observe nature, to play, to rest, to meet, to interact or even to experiment. It must be an attraction that encourages the discovery of the parks.The cabins must be eco-constructed, less than 20 m² of footprint, resistant. Open to international team, you can apply in English.

Prizes: €5500 for the construction of each of the winning cabins. + €1500 for expenses.
Construction : between April and June 2019.
