Open Call | ROJA ART LAB 2019, Residencies

ROJA ART LAB are very excited to announce that their short-term artist in residence program is currently accepting applications for the summer of 2019. Located in a small seaside town in Latvia, this residence program attracts vibrant international emerging and mid-career artists. It provides an opportunity to create experimental and/or site-specific artwork and is open to all disciplines and formats including visual / fine, sound / noise and performance based artists.
Funding:
ROJA ART LAB has received funding from the State Culture Capital Fund of Latvia, and is supported by private individuals and organizations. Residency provides housing, meals, studio, materials along with technical support and basic facilities.
ROJA ART LAB are working hard to offer all the selected artists fully funded places excluding their travel to and from Roja. Artists, especially those from outside Latvia, are encouraged to seek financial help through national or regional funding organizations, charitable trusts, etc. They will provide all necessary recommendations, papers and any other possible help, when artist is selected.

Dates: 20. July – 4. August.
