Deadline for expressions of interest: Wednesday 1 May, 5pm.
The Belfast Visual Arts Forum are seeking two artists to each design an enamel pin badge that will be used to help raise awareness of the Belfast Art Map and Late Night Art.
The two pin badges will each be produced in editions of 100 and will then be made available for sale in 20 public venues of members of the forum. Proceeds of the sales will go directly to the venues in which they are sold.
There is a fee of £350 available for each artist.
Submissions should include
- Up to 50 words or a preliminary sketch that outlines the idea for the design
- Up to 5 images of existing work that will give an indication of suitability
The design will be licensed from the artist to be used for 100 badges only. The badges will be sold as per the brief. All intellectual property rights are retained by the artist. The badges will be sold on a custom backing board containing the artist’s name, edition number, information about the Belfast Art Map and Late Night Art.
This project is being administered by Visual Artists Ireland, in partnership with Thrive and the Naughton Gallery at Queen’s, on behalf of the Belfast Visual Arts Forum.
