Open Call | Dublin Painting and Sketching Club 141st Annual Exhibition (Submission Fee)

The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club (founded 1874) is pleased to announce its fourth Open Submission process.

Non-members are invited to submit paintings for the Club’s 141st Annual Exhibition which will be held in the Liffey Corner Gallery, at CHQ , 1 Custom House Quay Dublin 1 from April 28th to May 12th 2019.

Within the broad genre of representational art, all mediums and styles are represented in the exhibition. Up to two paintings can be submitted.

Please note: The submission fee for one painting is 10 euro and for two paintings is 15 euro. Normally , for each submitting artist, only one painting will be selected for exhibition. The submission fee is to cover the costs of the selection panel. There is no artist fee paid to selected artists. DPSC cover the costs of Exhibition rental and installation, production of catalogue, advertising and insurance costs. There is a 30 % commission on sales.

Initially artists must submit their work as digital images. These can be JPEG or TIFF images with a file size of approx. 1.0Mb but no greater than 1.5MB and should be sent to :
