Local artist, Chris Gilbert, will present a series of paintings of both well known and some lesser known landscapes around Larne. He is inspired by the places associated with his childhood in Larne and the beauty and variety of the countryside in the area. Chris studied art at BIFHE and then at the Art College (UU). Chris is very versatile, sometimes working in oil, sometimes in acrylic and sometimes mixed media and has embraced plein air painting to record various scenes including coastal and mountain viewpoints.
