Dance Ireland is seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Assistant for DanceHouse.

Dance Ireland is Ireland’s national dance development organisation and the representative body for the professional dance community in Ireland. A membership organisation, they celebrate, develop and promote all forms of dance through training and development programmes, special events and partnerships. They operate DanceHouse (on licence from Dublin City Council) as a national centre of excellence. DanceHouse is a working base for all forms of dance and is a hub for the wider dance community.

The Venue Assistant, one of two full-time positions, provides reception, studio booking, operational and administrative duties for Dance Ireland. The successful applicant will have reception experience and be a good communicator with strong verbal and written skills. As the welcoming face of the venue, the post holder will be confident, friendly and welcoming.

This is a key-holding position and the nature of the role requires a flexible person who is willing to work a variety of alternating day and evening shifts.
