The Golden Fleece Award is an artistic fund established as a charitable bequest by the late Helen Lillias Mitchell in 2001. The mission of the GFA is to provide resources for practising contemporary visual artists and makers to innovate and to develop their artistic vision. The GFA is managed by a Board of Trustees with advice from an Artistic Panel. GFA runs an annual competition and to date has awarded €370,000 to Irish artists and makers.

The GFA trustees are seeking a project administrator to support the trustees in implementing the full annual cycle of the award. This is a flexible part time consultant position which will suit a self-moving individual with strong communication and IT skills, and an interest in arts administration.

The position of project administrator is offered on a consultancy basis, and the successful candidate will be expected to work from their own premises. Reimbursement is through an annual fee of up to €6k.
