Temple Bar Gallery + Studios Dublin is seeking to appoint a full-time Programme Curator who will play a key role as part of a small team at TBG+S.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is seeking a committed and talented curator and project manager who will play a key role in delivering Artistic Programmes (gallery & studios) at TBG+S. This full-time role will suit a highly motivated, creative, practical and flexible individual who will enjoy working as part of a small team and who has a strong track record and interest in contemporary visual arts and artists and their work. TBG+S is ideally seeking an individual who has had previous curatorial experience and responsibility within an institutional context and/or is developing their own curatorial practice. The role will suit an individual at an evolving and formative stage in their own career and is confident that they would enjoy the opportunity to gain and thrive in this artist-centred context.
The Programme Curator is responsible for the management, curation and presentation of the five main gallery exhibitions to a high standard of public presentation. He/she will work closely with the Director οΏΌin consideration of gallery and artistic programmes and be involved in long-term planning. To this end, the Programme Curator will research into artistic practices and proposals for exhibitions. He/she will work closely with the Director to support in evolving the artistic vision of TBG+S and across operation and management of TBG+S. He/she will be guided by the Director and the strategic vision of TBG+S.
