Creative Spark CLG is a not-for-profit company established to promote the creative industries, including craft, art and design businesses and practitioners in County Louth. In 2012 they established Creative Spark, providing workspace and training facilities to the creative industries sector and the community within Co. Louth; and, in 2014, they opened a dedicated Fine Art Print Studio.
Print Studio Coordinator and Technician
Reporting to the Executive Director, the main role of the Print Studio Coordinator and Technician will be the effective and efficient running of the Print Studio and the delivery of a comprehensive range of supports and training programmes for studio members, visual artists and those wishing to learn printmaking skills. The role will include the coordination of the Creative Spark Artist-in-Residence programme.
The Job
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within a visual art/design/printmaking environment. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of delivering training in printmaking to adults and children. He/she will have proven abilities of managing projects in this sector and have excellent communication skills.
The position will be offered on a 12 month full-time (35 hours per week) fixed-term contract basis.
