The National Library of Ireland are currently seeking an Exhibition Manager for the “Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again” exhibition at the new Bank of Ireland (BOI) Cultural and Heritage Centre.
The Centre is a partnership between BOI and the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The Seamus Heaney exhibition, curated and delivered by the National Library is the first cultural exhibit at the new Centre, This is a major international exhibition telling the story of the work of the Nobel Laureate and one of Ireland’s most loved writers. It will run for 3-5 years, with expected visitor numbers of 80,000-100,000 per annum.
This new role is a specified purpose contract and you will be responsible for delivering an exemplary visitor experience and seamless operations for “Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again”. You will be responsible for the management of all day-to-day operations for the centre including finance and budgets, line management of the visitor experience team, facilities management in conjunction with the site owners, marketing and programming, in addition to the management of the centre retail space.
