Job Vacancy | Director of Creative Ireland Programme

The Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has responsibility for promoting and protecting Irelandโ€™s culture and heritage, to advance the use of the Irish language, and to facilitate the sustainable development of the islands.
The Governmentโ€™s Creative Ireland Programme, is a high-level, high-ambition, all-of government initiative to mainstream creativity in the life of the nation so that individually and collectively, Ireland can realise its full creative potential. A vacancy now exists for Director, providing a superb opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to lead on this major programme.

The successful candidate will have:

โ€ข senior leadership experience which demonstrates a track record of successfully delivering significant programmes of similar scale and impact;
โ€ข excellent interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills and experience with a capability to build effective relationships internally and externally at every level;
โ€ข strong communications and marketing skills with the capacity to develop and implement a cohesive communications programme aimed at key stakeholders, utilising multiple communications platforms;
โ€ข the ability to define and manage an all-encompassing, inclusive policy initiative, and to be innovative, in a complex, dynamic environment.
