The Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has responsibility for promoting and protecting Irelandโs culture and heritage, to advance the use of the Irish language, and to facilitate the sustainable development of the islands.
The Governmentโs Creative Ireland Programme, is a high-level, high-ambition, all-of government initiative to mainstream creativity in the life of the nation so that individually and collectively, Ireland can realise its full creative potential. A vacancy now exists for Director, providing a superb opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to lead on this major programme.
The successful candidate will have:
โข senior leadership experience which demonstrates a track record of successfully delivering significant programmes of similar scale and impact;
โข excellent interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills and experience with a capability to build effective relationships internally and externally at every level;
โข strong communications and marketing skills with the capacity to develop and implement a cohesive communications programme aimed at key stakeholders, utilising multiple communications platforms;
โข the ability to define and manage an all-encompassing, inclusive policy initiative, and to be innovative, in a complex, dynamic environment.
