The National Gallery of Ireland wishes to recruit a Digital Engagement Coordinator on a permanent basis. The
purpose of this role is to coordinate the creation and management of digital content across
the Gallery’s digital channels. Reporting to the Head of Public Engagement, the successful

  • Assist with the implementation of the Gallery’s digital communications strategy
  • ï‚· Create a content strategy to drive deeper engagement among priority audience segments while attracting new and non-traditional audiences
  • ï‚· Project manage and co-ordinate multiple contributors across the organisation to ensure the full scope of the Gallery’s activity are captured through digital communications
  • ï‚· Edit and upload audio and audio-visual material
  • ï‚· Devise and manage digital engagement metrics reporting and provide monthly metrics and insights to the Executive Leadership Team on the impact of digital engagement strategies in the Gallery
  • ï‚· Use digital engagement reports to inform the content strategy, maximising digital reach and increasing effectiveness
  • ï‚· Create and optimise digital marketing campaigns to achieve commercial targets
  • ï‚· Engage with a community of Bloggers, Instagrammers and other Digital Media professionals to extend the reach of the Gallery’s profile
  • ï‚· Create engaging internal digital signage to achieve awareness and commercial targets
  • ï‚· Complete other duties as and when required

Grade and Salary: Salary is in accordance with the 1st point of the Executive Officer Salary scale (PPC), currently €29,026 per annum
