Job Vacancy | Development Officer at the Irish Writers Centre

Reporting to and working with the IWC Director, the Development Officer is a key member of the team of Ireland’s national literature resource and support organisation for writers.

Overview and Job Purpose
This role involves the raising of funds for the IWC by way of grant-writing, donations and sponsorship. There will be an emphasis on developing partnerships with corporate sponsors, as well as researching and engaging trusts, foundations and other granting bodies.

This role would suit a dynamic, motivated, business-minded individual with a marketing or fundraising background, an interest in the arts, and a highly organised and professional approach.

Part-time, 3 days per week.

Salary: €29,000 p.a. (pro-rata for 3 days per week) rising to €30,800 (pending satisfactory performance during the probation period of three months).
