Gasworks is looking for a dynamic contemporary art Curator to join the team and be responsible for the delivery of the organisation’s artistic programme in consultation with the Director.

Established in 1994, Gasworks is a contemporary visual art organisation that provides studios for local artists and develops a programme of artists’ residencies, exhibitions, events and educational activities.

The Curator will work directly with UK and international artists to develop and deliver an ambitious programme of exhibitions, residencies and events. The programme will continue to advance Gasworks’ commitment to address current debates and issues within contemporary art, both locally and internationally.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Interviews will be held during the week commencing 27th August 2018.
Contract starting October 2018 with 6 months’ probation.
