The purpose and function of this part-time post is to be responsible for developing, designing and delivering a creative programme of activities, by utilising the resources and objects within the Creative Zone aspect of the exhibition.

To provide an exciting, hands-on learning experience which will facilitate the joy of engagement with Heaney’s literary works, in a warm, welcoming and nurturing atmosphere.

To work operationally within the team, and contribute to an effective engagement, education and arts programme, through the delivery of a programme of activities utilising sensory experiences, which supports the Council’s vision, values and strategic direction for Seamus Heaney HomePlace.

Location: Seamus Heaney HomePlace, Bellaghy
Job Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: £21,074 – £23,111 pro rata p.a Scale 5 SCP 22-25
