Job Vacancy | Communications and Development Project Manager at IMMA

IMMA, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, seeks the services of a suitably qualified self-employed Project Manager to temporarily manage IMMA’s Communications and Development teams. This is a great opportunity to work with a cross-functional team to oversee and deliver on IMMA’s communications and development strategies, including realising the full potential of our new online presence, while making a valuable contribution to the continued growth and development of one of Ireland’s most exciting cultural institutions.

Reporting to the Director, the self-employed Communications and Development Project Manager will manage the development, marketing and communication strategies for IMMA. They will lead and inspire IMMA’s Communications and Development teams, and support their delivery of IMMA’s strategic aims of building new audiences for contemporary art, and maintaining a strong base of corporate and individual partners to support our ambitious programme, while contributing to IMMA’s commitment to ensure a positive experience for all our audiences is met.

It is anticipated that this scope of work will take four months to complete with the option to renew for a further two months, working at an average rate of 40 hours per week. Flexibility will be needed from the service provider to scale hours accordingly with the project needs and stages.
