Athlone Arts and Tourism operates Athlone Castle, Luan Gallery and Abbey Road Artists’ Studios. These sites are of major significance to the heritage and cultural landscape of Athlone, Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands and the Irelands’ Ancient East region.

An Assistant Manager is required to work for Athlone Arts and Tourism. This is a demanding management role which will require an experienced person with excellent leadership skills,vision, imagination and drive to assist the company manager with the management, operations and ongoing development of the three facilities. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a broad range of duties including operational management, strategic planning, managing and delivering programmes, financial management and reporting, staff management, marketing, administration and engagement with other cultural, educational, tourism and funding bodies.
