Job Vacancy | Apollo Fellowship at The National Gallery of Ireland

The Apollo Project is a three-year project (launching January 2019) dedicated to sustainably connecting and engaging young people (16-25) with the National Gallery of Ireland and Russborough House. Supported by the Alfred Beit Foundation, the project will encompass national, local and tailored strands providing various access points and innovative, relevant opportunities for young people of all abilities.

The Gallery wishes to recruit an Apollo Fellow for the Education Department. This is a 12 month fixed term post. The purpose of this post is to support the Education Officer: Teachers, Schools and Youth (TSY) in delivering the Apollo Project, and assist with associated programming. This is an opportunity for an early-career practitioner to develop their skills in this area while receiving mentoring, training, support and professional development.

Provisions of the post: A full clean driving licence is required, access to a car is desirable
Salary: Salary will be in accordance with the 1st point of the Clerical Officer Standard Salary Scale (PPC), currently €23,107 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, Tuesday – Saturday – 37 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available to work occasional early mornings and late evenings.
