Japanese Bookbinding with Josephine McCormick at Belfast Print Workshop

Join bookbinder and printmaker, Josephine McCormick on this one day workshop in all things Japanese. Spend an enjoyable day creating four Japanese style books with a variety of stitches and folds using traditional techniques. During the day we will have sushi and Japanese tea provided. The Japanese book style is very flexible, you can experiment with different fold outs of paper which will display your images in an original way. This one day course is perfect for learning a new skill, in a relaxed environment, experimenting with high quality printmaking papers, making original and personal hand- made books to give away as presents or to beautifully display your work or photographs in book form.
