In + Around: Artists in Conversation at In_Spire Galerie, Dublin

Siuan Ni Dhochartaigh, Natalie Pullen and Deirdre Ni Argain in conversation, closing their collaborative exhibition ‘In + Around’.

Siuan Ni Dhochartaigh has curated the artwork made by her mother, Deirdre Ni Argain, during and after pregnancy. Their mother-daughter collaboration is shown in and around ‘The Five’, a series of paintings by Natalie Pullen delving into feminine mysticism and the Occult.

Bringing their diverse practices together started a conversation about their personal and professional relationships as artists and women. In this closing talk the artists and curator will discuss and reflect on their experiences collaborating together, how the public responded to the programme of participatory events, and any connections or conclusions drawn from this radical and experimental project.
