Future Labs Training Programme at Digital Arts Studios

Digital Arts Studios are pleased to announce Future Labs, an innovative and creative training programme for artists. This programme aims to provide training and technical support for artists who wish to experiment with emerging technologies, develop skills and create new and innovative work. Artists will have the opportunity to learn a variety of technical skills and explore areas such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Green Screen, Motion Capture, 3d Volumetric Film, Artificial Intelligence, Projection mapping, 3d Printing, Photogrammetry, Sound Design and IOT.

Programme structure

The programme will run from 16th Nov 2018 – March 2019 and will consist of a series of technical and skills based workshops. The majority of workshops will be carried out over a 6/8 hour day. Artists must be able to commit to participating in a core set of workshops, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Projection Mapping, with the option to select a further two/ three relevant workshops.

DAS would like to invite all artists who are interested in exploring the potential of new digital technologies to apply for a place on this programme.

The cost of this training programme is £150.
