Funding | Ards and North Down Borough Council Arts Funds and Bursaries

The deadline for receipt of Bursary applications is Monday 26 February at 12 noon.

Ards and North Down Borough Council currently have various Arts Funds and Bursaries open for applications.

The Ballinglen Arts Foundation Bursary offers a two-week Studio Residency at Ballinglen Arts Foundation OR a place on one of Ballinglen’s Residency Workshops. From painting to printmaking, there is a raft of opportunities on offer at the foundation which is situated in the pretty village of Ballycastle on the sea coast of North County Mayo. The residency is aimed at professional practicing visual artists and crafts people. Artists are provided with accommodation as well as a studio to work in.

Also on offer, are one-week residencies to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig in County Monaghan. Open to arts practitioners in all mediums (eg: visual arts, crafts, literature, music, etc), the aim of the bursary is to assist and encourage both established and emerging artists and give them the opportunity to work intensively on a project alongside others in a very unique environment.
