Matshushita explores duality and the uncertain boundary between two aspects such as flatness and volume or tactile and intangible which is mainly related to our perspective. Her book reflects the dualistic elements of fairy tales such as good/evil, young/old or happy/unhappy.  Illustrated using Kirigami (cut paper) on both sides of the paper, in Japanese and English, these two stories are connected each other through holes representing windows and a mirror in terms of reversing inside and outside, and a different point of view.
