Creative Continuance Workshop with Mary Ann Gelly at Blackwatch Studio, Kilkenny

This workshop is aimed at previous participants, wishing to continue the creative continuance journey with Mary-Ann Gelly, and new participants looking for guidance though combining discussions and exercises focused on creativity. Looking at possible starting points for creating Artwork, as well as what motivates us.

There will be a group discussion around some aspects of creativity, followed by a drawing expressively exercise. After lunch participants will experiment with mixed media construction.

To finish up the group will either take a look at unresolved work of your own (either new or old), for feedback, or partake in a group critique about the work produced during the workshop.

Materials required for the workshop:-

Mixed media materials. I.E.Synthetic and/or Organic, possibilities, Yarn, Beads, threads, fabrics, feathers. Glue gun, and craft knife if you have one, we do have glue gun/craft knives if you don’t have one
