Basic Space is a independent art organisation, based in Dublin with a programme of residencies, exhibitions, and educational events in collaboration with institutions and practitioners throughout Ireland.
Basic Space seeks to appoint a Co-Director responsible for the management, development and administration of the organisation with an emphasis on visual art and educational programming. The successful candidate will have a particular responsibility to maintain and develop collaborations with institutions and practitioners, as part of our sustainability strategy. Basic Space looks to expand its operations and continue to provide space and opportunities for artists and visual art practitioners more broadly. The ideal candidate should have the vision and ambition to craft and implement successful policies and programme as a part of a team.
This is an unsalaried position, requiring a minimum commitment of 10hrs a week. The Co-Director will be provided with work-related expenses.
