Chinese Ink and Watercolour Workshop at ISLAND Arts Centre, Lisburn

Join Michael Rong–Gen as he takes you through the process of Traditional Chinese painting, one of the oldest artistic traditions in the world.

You will learn two techniques of Chinese painting – Gongbi, where intricate brushstrokes form detailed coloured landscapes, which can include narrative themes and Shui–mo, which is much looser using bold brushstrokes and watercolour wash.
